Friends new bow
« on: May 27, 2014, 10:53:37 pm »
My friend wanted to make a bow so I gave him red oak board and some pieces to glue up a handle. Over the weekend I talked him threw making a bow and a string. Not bad for the first. 72" long 45# @28". He is very proud of it and wants to make another one already. Hickory next he said.

Did the Native Americans think about all this that much or just do it?

Excellent first bow. Well done.   I hope you warned your friend that this bow building stuff is addictive.  ;D

Way to pass it on Scott.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.
