Baby, birdies and fruit bowl
« on: June 16, 2014, 09:19:22 pm »
Well I put a bowl I hand built to use. The pitting begins.
The cherry tree was planted for my sons grandmother twenty-five years ago.
The upper deck railing was like his outdoor play pen railing.
And yes he did call me for Father's day.
These are a couple birds that can't make cherry pie.

When I was a Kid, there were a couple of Cherry Trees in the Yard. After picking enough for Moms need, I would sell them on the side of the road. Thanks for takin' Me back Zuma ! Bob

Nice picture,I use to have a couple, the died, but I use to put a short piece of hose pipe in them and that kept the birds pretty much away from them. If I didn't they would clean the trees. :)

Thanks guys,
I think nostalgia had a lot to do with the post along with the colors.
I can see the tree from my computer through the sliding glass door.
Lots of old memories. Good ones.

PS good idea with the hose Pappy
