I look forward to seeing your warbows of Poplar, Chestnut, Willow, Aspen, Alder, and Pear
For the Record, here's a list of some woods I've used to make bows.
Yew
Elm
Ash
Maple
Elder
Hazel
Hawthorn
English Hornbeam
Cherry
Plum
Laburnum
Osage
Hickory
Sycamore
Lemonwood
Bamboo (yes dear, I know it's botanically not a wood)
I've even made kids bows from Hardboard! Not all are suitable for Warbows especially hardboard
As for the poor Yew trees, I've never cut down a Yew tree in my life although I've planted a few. I've cut limbs and stems with permission and often for payment from sources such as forestry commission land, country estates and private land in conservation area. I've also had Yew from tree surgeons and landscape gardeners. (All written up on my blog)
I really can't be bothered to justify my opinions any further or answer any more of your posts as they seem to be degenerating into Trolling.
