Haha I don't know about all that but I do know we had a ladder stand with the seat made from straps and last season it couldn't be sat in because the strapped seat was chewed up. I also left a tent blind in the woods through turkey season and a little after and the bag it went in was chewed up when I went to put it up. I'd rather bait with corn. Its much cheaper.

no doubt...corn is cheaper..patb....its got a 2"  belt and thdn s 1" backup belt....seems sturdy nuff...a lil on the heavy side...but its a tree stand!!!

I have one lock on style with web straps and one with chain. I've never felt unsafe with either. Be sure to wear a safety harness with fall arrest and a climbing line with Prusset(sp) knot for getting in and out of the stand.
