RUSH RUSH RUSH ;D

  We need: someone to donate a stave,

                someone to rough out the bow and bring it to floor tiller,

                someone to reflex it,

                someone to tiller it ::),

                and several people to finish it depending on how elaborate we want to go.

          So, whatever you want to volunteer to do. I can do any of these but if we need to get the ball rolling, I could donate the stave.

If its a style that calls for artwork then heck yes I'd like doing that part, Tillering would be to much pressure for me
unless we wanted a girly weight bow. I'd gladly do just about any other phase of the build as well. Also have staves
of varying quality, some of it might be good enough to be suitable for this. Anybody have a idea as to which wood species we want to work with?

OK, I have some decent staves in my stash. When I get home from work tomorrow I'll dig through and find a "good" one and send it to bad Chris for rough shaping, that is ,if no one else has one to donate.

   I noticed that no one has volunteered  to do tillering. If nobody does, I'll take the challenge :D     I think that whatever bow we build should be able to be drawn 28" with meat to spare. We can go stiff handled or bendy, guess we will have to leave that to Blackcaulk.

  If anyone has tip overlay material, leather for the handle etc. feel free to donate.

I'd like to do the tip work and/or skins if it calls for it.

I've been involved in a couple community projects here years ago.  One of them didn't turn out so good but they were all fun none the less

 ::) ..... :laugh: ....ya know pearly n I have talked about getting "Bad Chris" and "Good Chris" shirts to wear at shoots n gatherings...lol  :laugh:   we all know which one I am  >:D

I know there's no rush on this...but with the folks involved I think we could have it done by the classic..and then have the last person to work on it bring it,then everyone who had a hand in it can all go shoot a course with it together?  ??? Then raffle it off on the raffle table for the fine folks at twin oaks ;) ...just an idea since Cody mentioned the raffle table?
