(1/3) > >>

KHalverson:
forged from antique saw steel (although I must admit there was a touch more stock removal on this than is normal for me)
its my take on a Canadian belt knife  kinda a cross between that and a nessmuck.
9.0 o.a.l   4.750 blade .
moose antler scales (thanks pappy)
its going to a good friend and co worker of mine that is headed to new foundland on a moose hunt at the end of September.
now to get it in leather.
comments and critiques are welcome as usual.
thanks 4 lookin.
KH

JW_Halverson:
I rather like that, cuz. The Nessmuk is a good design and I think this will be a useful and handly knife around camp.  I am looking at the handle and thinking with the blade shape, one could really choke up on it and do fine tip work with the blade just as easily as they could lay it back in the palm and use it for choping, slicing or whatever.  Well done!

Zuma:
I hope your co gets to slice and dice on
a September. moose with that bad boy.
You are a good friend.
Zuma

chamookman:
