Check your states regulations regarding bow draw weight.  Some states have a minimum poundage for hunting deer.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Brik, look through hunting posts for 2013 and 2012. You'll find a gentleman by the name of Keith that posts his harvests with a 38 lb bow at close range. He would be a good person to pm. Everything sounds good. 20 yards might be stretching it for a humane kill at that poundage consistently but I could be wrong. Best of luck and post pics of your harvest :D

if you dont mind ...i really wanna see this bow...you are getting some amazing speed for that weight shooting 400 grn arrows...i wanna see this bow!!  im heartily impressed
