How do you carry your arrows when hunting with a selfbow?

I have a GFA quiver that I use a lot......it is not primitive but it works for me. I also use my back quiver sometimes mainly if I am hunting out of a treestand.

Also do a search for hnhleatherworks or highnoongunter. I love his side / back quiver.

This is Kenneth at the head of Salt Creek Trail in the San Juan Mountains of S.W. Colorado. This point is at about 10,000' elevation. You can see Kenneth's GFA quiver I made for him leaning against the sign post.
