Backstop
DC:
Will old conveyer belt make a good backstop or would it somehow be hard on arrows?
Thanks
Don
Wooden Spring:
I use the Bearpaw Dura Backstop Netting, sold by the good folks over at Kustom King Archery. It's a little pricey, but it works like a charm. I own one of the 20' and one of the 30' nets for our setup and I've never had the first problem with them stopping even the fastest of my wood bows.
Pat B:
Old carpet hung loosely behind the target should work.

We had a pecan tree fall on the kids trampoline. I made a backstop out of the nylon mesh jumping surface. It has worked really well. I suspect it's a bit softer than conveyor belt material though.
Pat B:
Find a used hot tub cover.
