elk hooves use?

I always liked these elk leg bags made by the Blackfeet people. It uses the dewclaws rather than the hooves, but they are pretty cool.  Curtis

     Do you have a dog?  They love them.  All the above ideas, and you can use them for inlays, as they polish really nice, small knife handle scales, or again inlays for knife handles, on boxes, etc. , or alien doll shoes.......
Boil it and shape it for a dipper, or scoop, with a handle on it for various uses.  Boil it, and cut it in wide strips, and wrap it around a dowel, or spiral wrap it around a dowel, and after they dry, polish them, and use, or sell them for napkin holders.  Shape the strips like an "M" and use them for holding your chop sticks, etc.
