your thoughts on a high humidity design around 12 percent.

Just curious my two cents . 75 inches long or longer. slightly over built? as suggested by others maybe yew locust or maybe a wood that is tension weak and compression strong.

Yew or ipe. Ipe is superb in humidity. Any design will work if you start with the right materials.

Simple.  Make any bow out of Osage.
Doesn't get much more humid than where I live and Osage doesn't seem to be affected.

Locust is fine with humidity and makes fast bows even therein.

Also most good white woodsdo better in humidity after heat treating the belly.  Still likely not as good as ipe, but....
