Glad to see you posting up.  I hope you really consider shooting at a 64" bend through the handle design to start.  That will be plenty challenging.  Don't you want a dependable bow if you are going to put in the time?  Just sayin...

Several years back I taught an old student of mine to build an American Flat Bow out of Hickory.  He is 6"11 and draws 32".  The bow was 72" and was being pressed.

Curious to see some rock pics.

Well i guess i'm open to the longer bows, I just don't have enough resources to make one. I've been posting on the trading post but I still need to attach pictures on those posts.

I have a good piece of Osage for you already with a chased ring. However, I would like to add that a Native American "shorty" will not support your draw length because they are not intended for that draw. PM me if you're intersted
