Jojo when it gets real dry it'll scrape. Not as good as hardwoods, but still ok

I'd love to have one or two of the Juniper staves, if all works out for a harvest.  Looking at a making a sinew backed shorty (of course).

I sinewed one bow.  Not certain i'm sold on it's value and benefits given the time it takes.

Why didn't you like it? Or was it just too much work for an OK bow?

PEARL DRUMS:
It hasn't been done for tens of thousands of years for no returns.
