Museum of Natural History
« on: April 24, 2015, 09:05:32 pm »
I was in Ottawa a few week ago and we went to this museum.  While we were walking around we came across some displays of artifacts found in Ontario that I found interesting enough to take pictures of.  Here's some of them

Nice displays.  Always enjoyed visiting Chicago's Museum of Natural History.
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

This museum is in Hull Quebec.  I had a bunch of other pictures I took there years ago but I seem to have lost them

Interesting to see how similar the celts, points and axes
are in comparison to say Pennsylvania /New York to the south.
Thanks for posting.
