Since we had the knapping at my house on Feb. 21 I have been busy sawing and cooking and I have done a little knapping. Several that I made did not turn out as well as I would like, so I'm not showing them. These are the ones for show. They are pretty good. Most were made from slabs. Now that I have done a good bit of slab work, it is obvious to me that slabs do conserve a lot of rock, but the knapping is tougher, and it takes longer. I know the flaking is wrong for most if not all these, but it is what I can do now. Maybe I will some day be  good enough to do serious replications.
