First ever knapped head!

Kegan:
I dunno Dana, if you were to sneak up on a deer and blast some heavy metal at him... he might die of a heart attack ;D! Bet Natives would have used it if they had tape recorders ;).

Otoe Bow:
The fish fillet gloves may not be Kevlar, but they would probably work, as would a heavy leather glove.

Trade points are fairly easy to make without specialized tools.  Go to Home Depot and get the largest ungalvanized nails they have.  They'll cost about ten cents each but you can get several points from one.  Heat them up, then beat them flat.  Grind or forge you some notches and cut them off with a hack saw or cut off wheel.  Sharpen with a file or stone. Pretty easy.

That sounds easy enough. I will try it.

Otoe Bow:
David:  I hate to overstate the obvious, but don't burn yourself if you forge some points.  :(  I'd hate for you to be banned from that too after a trip to the ER.  Gotta keep the folks happy.   ;D

Have fun.

Sparrow:
