Redhand:
Thanks for the welcome sleek.  My name is Marlen Murdock i live in the North Eastern part of Utah.  i just finished up this elk horn bow its 38 inches nock to nock it pulls 48 pounds at 19 inches.

aaron:
Welcome to PA! This type of bow is hardly ever seen on this site- we're gonna need details on how you made it! Also, it doesn't really even exist without a full-draw picture.

Pat B:
Is it just elk antler or is it also sinew backed?      More details and pics please.

mikekeswick:
Surely it's got to be sinew backed?
Pretty cool bow! Full draw picture or not I can see it's a beauty.  :)

Redhand:
I don't have alot of pics of the process.  It is two pieces of elk antler lap spliced together with hide glue.  I put 3 layers of sinew on it and wrapper the splice with sinew i  didn't put any pins through the lap splice.  It seems to be holding together pretty well.  I will be getting ready to attempt another elk antler bow.  ill keep pics of the build.  here are a couple of pics braced and full draw on the tillering board.
