CLEAN UP YOUR WORK AREA!!

(1/5) > >>

Sasquatch:
I was trying to sit down late last night and hit some rocks.  When i put weight on my chair with my hand the chair flipped over.  This drove my hand into the this flint core i had left there.  When i looked at the wound and saw the yellow fat tissue and blue veins I knew it was time for a trip to the ER.  I contemplated sewing it up myself but the wife wanted me to go for the sake of infection.  to keep from waking the babies we duck taped it and i was off to the doc.  The doc knew about flintknapping and flytying and he gave me a togo bag full of the forceps and scissors they used. I thought that was pretty cool.  Moral of the story clean up your shop.  I plan to tuck my buckets of flint under my work benches so that the kids don't fall on them.

Sasquatch:
Well i wont be knapping for a couple weeks.

cowboy:
Youch!! Man that sucks! It'd take me a month to clean up out there, guess I better watch my step. And no barefoot kids  ::). Godspeed on your recovery, I wanna see more of your work.

Parnell:
Ooof!  Nice work!  Good pictures!

bowmo:
Yuk, that looks unpleasant!

Further support for my theory that knapping on a upside down bucket or a log is good mojo though  ::)

Hope that heals up quick for ya.
