I like the symmetry you created by slightly
tipping the front and back faces. Oh and the
shadows show off the edge flaking.

The lighting was intentional I wanted to make the flake scar pattern show up better. A more uniform light, like a cloudy day would of sufficed in photographing the point but it would have turned out pretty 2 dimensional. I do like a cloudy day though for taking pictures of points it really hides mistakes in the flake scar pattern >:D
The edge view used the same lighting setup that I used for the faces. Im interested in photographing a much thinner point where the blade is slightly curved across the piece. The broad point below is super thin but had a slight curve to it which may make it appear thicker on an edge view. I do not own that piece (wish I did) but I do have a novaculite blade I will try it with.
