That is a killer recurve Ryan.
Sounds like you found a nice branch. I still need to try a yew bow from a branch. And those belly skins are wicked!

Thanks alot guys. For sure if your snakes are big enough get those belly skins!
They seem quite a bit thicker too, I actually had to sand mine down a bit.
Carson, only my 3rd yew branch bow, but I find 2-3" branch wood to be as good as yew can get.  The inner facing / tension side is usually
always the clear side, and usually super dense.
