Elkhorn handle knife

For a short knife it feel good. It is heavy though. I'm still adjusting the shape of the handle and have reduced the thickness of the blade with a file. I did try to anneal the metal so I could work it easily but couldn't get it hot enough. It did soften it enough so a file cut easily but it still takes an edge. Whether or not is holds an edge is to be seen.
  I like knife making but don't have the proper tools to do the job right. I'm working on that. For now, function is my main goal.
