Mechslasher:
here's a copote coat i made last year.  i hunted with it when i hunted with my flintlock last year.  it's made out of an army blanket.

looks simple and good. i think i will ahve to try it. how long did it take?

identical to mine right down to the blanket :)

Recently got a pattern for one of these,says it can be done in a couple of hours,so it should take me a whole day or so....

Mechslasher:
took me about 3-4 hours.  the hardest part was attaching the sleeves.  here's a website that might help.
