beginners guide to making a longbow

(1/3) > >>

alanesq:
Over the last 6 months I have taught myself (with a lot of help from forum members) to make longbows / warbows
so I thought that to return all the help I have received I would try and get down in writing all I have learned in the hope it will be of help/interest to any others who would like to give bow making a try

my "The Back Street Bowyer" guide is available for download as a PDF file from www. alanesq. com

Its early days and I hope to improve it a lot in the near future

Alan its to small to read. marlon

alanesq:
It looks ok on mine? - I will play with the settings and try re saving it

btw - if you right click on the link and select "save target as" you can save the PDF file to your hard disk

Marc St Louis:
No offense alanesq but all this link does is brings one to your site where there is a link to the englishwarbow message board but no mention of PA. I don't really think this one can stay but I will confer with the others on this first before making a decision.

O blimey - my first critic ;-)

I will modify it to include link to this forum as well.  I only "pulished" it yesterday (on englishwarbow.com) and hadnt really planned to mention it anywhere else for a while
