This is where I do most my tillering. I get brace perfect then start pulling back. It reduces breakage by, a lot!

Full brace now. The tips open more than I like, but its so short a bow, I dont know how else I could have done it.

My tiller tree. Some of you may get a kick out of this. I use a branch to hold the string then pull down. This was a stave. Dont know if it will even be a bow. Idk what wood it is.

Right limb in the pic wasnt bending enough out the fade or near the tips. I adjusted that. I was 48#@24 there.

All adjustments made. This is the moment of truth. Will a 54" stiff handle hold at 26"?
