Congrats on the deer and doing it with the bow YOU made!  I hope to turn my luck around this year too.  But once the leaves starting turning and air gets crisp, I probably won't mind too much if I just see my usual squirrels as long as I am out there.

Congrats on your harvest. Sounds like you worked hard and put in the much needed effort and now you get to enjoy the best venison you've ever eaten in your life. Loved the story too. :)
