Fluted success

Outbackbob48:
I knocked a spall off from a pc of English Flint and got a preform of the type I like for fluting, I fluted the flatter side first and got a 2/3 big flat flute, 2nd side had a nice median ridge and was hoping for a longer flute :o I got a narrow 1/2 distance flute and am very happy with both. thanks for looking. Bob

Hummingbird Point:
As good a Redstone replica as they get.  Thin, triangular and fluted at least half the length.  How did you flute it?  (Looks like direct percussion.)

Outbackbob48:
Keith, :(  Sorry I used a solberger jig and have plenty of failures with this method.  Bob

Zuma:
LOL I wonder what the Atlantic Crossing crew would think of that point?
Leave it in some coastal museum with a few English overshot flakes.
You must be pulling some pretty stout nipples to get hinges :)
