A few hours down a few to go
bowmo:
Here's a Mill Creek celt I started yesterday and a few others I've made recently.
A little rough out with some moose on it and another mill blank.
Wet grinding by hand. My grinding stone isn't exactly abo but I had it on hand.
Where I'm at so far after 3 or 4 hours.
...and some other stuff...

That is some cool work there! Real nice biface work with the moose antler. I have often thought about abo FOG because I think that paleo flaking on that surface would be killer. You are going to have to post that as you go. Even if that breaks I want see the results ...cool stuff
bowmo:
Oh definitely. I've been hand grinding off things like stacks and funky spots and then flaking over it for years. Pretty useful when you have a booger stack you're tried of losing width fighting it.
Zuma:
Nice goin. Do I see a long slender piece of KY black?

bowmo:
That's actually a piece of Georgetown...a little over 6.5" ::)
