Any Navy WW11 vets might want to check
out my dad's acknowlegement in a book called
"U boats VS Q boats" It came out shortly before
his death.

Here is a news article I found sweet and sour but I hope not to political.

From large ceremonies to simple grave site memorials, people across the country celebrated and honored members of the military on Veteran's Day.

A single yellow rose in a grave marker. A wreath in remembrance. A presidential promise to do better in caring for those who have served. Parades of thousands.

Across the United States on Wednesday, Americans found ways big and small to honor and remember members of all branches of the U.S. military on Veterans Day. The day marks the anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I and has become a day to honor all current and former veterans.

President Barack Obama laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns and said the nation must "match our words with deeds" in ensuring veterans get the services they need.

I have been waiting 5 months
