Very nice work indeed!  If I can figure out how to do the knot work for the button, I may steal that idea.  Josh

I'll send you an illustration, I learned it by looking at a drawing of that knot.  Actually, the knot was shaped a bit differently, I pulled out one of the bends to make it large enough to accommodate the button. 

Ranasp:
Made my first knife sheath!  Made quite a few errors on it, the latest one being that I sliced the leather with the knife when I drew it out of the sheath!  It's quite a tight fit so I was concentrating more on yanking it out than keeping the leather out of the way.  >_<  I'll be re-dying that slice.  The tooling isn't fantastic either, but I made up the pattern to go with the knotwork on the knife.  Overall I'm pretty happy with how it came out, considering it's my first try at a sheath.
