Spotted Dog:
:Started cutting out my shirt today. A little un nerving. As I go along I will post pics. I have beaded strips coming to go on it.

BowEd:
Especially so even if you brain tanned them yourself or paid for them.It gets easier to put scissors to leather the more stuff you make out of it.Looking forward to the pics.

Peatreg:
Sometimes little goofs actually enhance the finished product rather than ruin them.  The hardest cuts are the first couple that being cutting the hides apart for the front/back & sleeves. The rest are much easier.  I've actually made a ragged cut maybe somewhere around one of the sides or right above one of the breast areas just to have a seam to sew.  Sew it together and pull it tight to pucker it and after you're done sewing you can pull it apart and flatten the puckers.  It can add something to the look.

Spotted Dog:
I have made 3 or 4 a long time ago. rusty and old now.  My problem is I am 46 in the chest and 36 in the waist.
Trying to figure width .  I will have to add false legs on the sleeves. I have used buff and deer.

BowEd:
You bet mistakes sometimes do add character to the project but like Spotted dog said it's no good too small.I once made a coat using 7 different deer I think.Even with using the scraps for fringe etc.
Beadwork should have an out of sort or off colored bead here and there just to show that the person making it is not perfect.
