Thanks The bow is from a maple board found at Lowe's the backing is bamboo from Plant World Nursery. I left the bamboo to thick and it caused the bow to have a belly ache. Very fine compression lines across the limbs in the same place on both limbs. I soaked a couple of piece's of rawhide 2 1/2 inches long and glued them to the belly with titebond 111 which has become my favorite glue good stuff. The bow is 68 inches,50 pounds at 28 inches It shoots a 600 grain ash arrow with authority. So far it has held up well. I put to much work into it to give up.
