I had a delivery notice in the mail this morning and this is what I picked up at the post office

Fortunately the contents were still in the tube because this is what was in there

Not only did Ryan send me a fabulous bow but he also sent me an excellent piece of Yew, thank you Ryan.  The workmanship on the bow is outstanding, haven't shot it because we got back late and the heat out there right now is deadly.  This bow is going to be one of my most prized pieces, it's just lovely.

Sweet, Marc! The heat? How hot can it be? The pictures I posted this afternoon was 98F ;) I'm looking forward to going to Alberta in a few weeks.

It was just about as hot here as where you are Eddie.  The only difference is that you are used to that whereas I am not.  Give me snow and -20 any day.

I was floored when I took the bow out of the tube, it is a work of art and I am proud to have it.

Some very cool bows guys. Congratulations to all.   8)

I finally got out and put about 30 arrows through my new Bavarian bow. All I can say is WOW!!! This is the fastest selfbow I think I've ever shot. I'm shooting a mixture of arrows; some cane, some cedar and some poplar. After the first volley to get the feel of the bow every arrow went into about a 4" circle at about 15yards.
Simon, this bow is incredible, not only in the way she shoots but the balance and the way she fits my hand and feels in my hand but it shoots amazingly.
I'll get some more pics soon.
