Looking forward to seeing that one come along Bryce.

Beautiful bow Pappy!  8)

I wasn't really feeling the take down yew even though I'm sure it will make a fine bow.  It just didn't feel right for the recipient.  I dug through and found another piece of yew with about 3 1/2" of natural reflex.  I had a couple hours today and started in on it.  I will continue to work on the takedown as well and see which one comes out better.  Here's the back up plan.  Josh

I'll second that! Very nice stick indeed, trucker.

Some nice bows and pretty pieces of wood being posted, keep up the good work guys  8)

I've gotten alot of work done on plan B, plan A was never really designed for what I needed to make, but plan B is.
Surprise surprise, a yew recurve, I decided to go with a safe bet, on a near flawless stave
I got her to target weight and an inch off target length. I added some nice skins from Ryan C, and did some bighorn sheep overlays.
One more good session and I'll be getting started on the finish.

Wicked stick goat! You'd best hurry up before baby goat arrives.
