A quick update here on the Sunday evening. Roughed the out the BW. It's 68" long with 7 1/2" handle and fades, 2" wide from fades halfways out the limbs down to 1/2" tips. Gun Doc recommended  limbs 2" longer than draw length so it should be good. I really like bendy handle bows and might adjust for that later, work is sending me to Albuquerque for the week so I got some time to think about it.
Take it easy guys!

Just got back from the classic. Shot the vine maple plan a some while there. And got an osage stave I had previously rejected shooting. The problems with the osage weren't as bad as I thought they were and it is back in the race. I still need to get the dogwood shooting then I will decide which to send. Will get some pics when I get a chance. Im always
Too busy and having to much fun at the classic to remember to take any pics. I did get to see some bows of the other members of the the trade and they were all looking good.

This weeks update:  I have two staves now at a good floor tiller, limbs right at 1/2 inch thick and evenish, both Osage.  One is a bendy handle (yall have seen it), the other I left fat in the handle to make it a stiff handle in case plan a craps out.  I had to clean out my shop yesterday afternoon to make way for steaming, and I am going to hit a couple thrift stores on the way home to get me a hot plate.  Also got to order some ammonium hydroxide for an experiment ;).

Here it is , Hackberry recurve, 64" ttt 50# @ 28". Top limb is 1" longer, 2" at the fades taper to 1/2" or less tips. Cherry overlays on tips and a thin handle lam. The paint is acrylic, i did that paint job on another bow but that one blew up.i've ra close to 400 bullets thru it and she's quik and hits pretty hard. This one is my trade bow and as soon as Fred gives me the ok , she gets shipped out.

That's pretty sharp stix!   I've been working on my b and c. Got them close and I'm ready to ship my plan a as soon as I'm given the ok by Fred!
