Blowhorn

Side-blown, 33 inches long.

Now that is cool, I have a couple I made that blow from the end, I may have to try that  type, any advice on where and how to drill the hole/size and other tid bits of info that might help. :)

Thanks, I got that design from ancient bronze age metal horns, and also african horns often blow from the side. I felt that it leaves the curve of the horn more intact, I did not have to cap the tip. I just stuck a thin branch into the horn to check where the cavity ends and drilled the hole there.

I'm guessing the horn is from a long horn steer?

  ;D Nope, it's from a highlandcattle my neighbour keeps. A cousin of he two cows in the pic, if I'm not mistaking. And they taste great, as well...
