Pappy:
Thanks Eddie, very nice stuff, don't think mine will turn out like that but it did give me some ideas. Is the smaller powder horn what would be for pistol powder, the measuring thing is what I was really wondering about, :-\ it seems in the movies they just take the end off and pour it in ?? Do they all have a way to measure the amount of powder you take out ? What did you seal the inside of the rum keg with ? I think you told me but I have slept since then and forgot.  ;) :)  Sorry Lots of question , that's what you get when you try and make something you know nothing about. ???

chamookman:
Nice collection Eddie ! I'm going to do a small flat Horn for My next project. Bob

mullet:
Pappy, the smaller horns are priming horns for my flintlocks. The only horn with the pre-measured spout is the black one with the long brass nipple. All the others are pull the plug and pour. The French style with my name is plugged with a violin string tuner. The rum keg is sealed inside with Bee's wax. You can use small deer horn hollowed out or even small pieces of river cane for powder measures.

mullet:
Bob, I'd like to try and make a Flat horn myself and an Elk horn also. I just saw a real nice one in this month's Muzzleloader Magazine.
