Quiver question?

(1/4) > >>

Scottski:
This has probably been asked before but I can't find my answer. I have a real nice coyote fur all tan and ready for me to make a quiver. I think I want one for my back. Does any body have any good plans on making one so I don't mess up a good fur. Any help would be welcomed. Thank you.

Spotted Dog:
Look up Jim Hams books. Coyote is kind of big for one with out cutting it up.

Pat B:
If you have a back quiver just wrap the skin around it and fasten it around the top and along the seam. Tanned coyote hide is pretty flimsy for a back quiver. You can line it with other leather by gluing them together. I'd suggest cutting out the shapes before gluing.
Also, when cutting hair-on hides cut from the flesh side with a sharp razor or your house(or shop) will fill up with loose fur. Don't ask how I know!  ::)

bubby:
×2 wgat Patb said, i have a bobcat quiver that is made just like that hide over an existing quiver, I'll see if i can find a pic

Redhand:
JackCrafty has one in the build a longs I do believe this is the link.
