Trappers will be after I get back from the Buttes but I'm mailing Sparrows on Monday! I'll take pictures but won't post till they get them. If you post early it ruins the surprise haha

JEB has started this trade with a "Bang". He sent me an excellent obsidian point made to the same dimensions as an Eastern Lancelot point from the Ohio Valley area. Also included a slab of obsidian, green glass and Florida coral. The icing on the cake was a piece of Cholla Cactus, which I will mount a point for a knife. Got a beautiful point and some new challenges for me.
Jon, I am truly moved and blessed. I will do my best working the slabs.

i cooked some rocks yesterday (and some sausage):
flakes were layered in 1/2 cubic foot of damp sand; ~8 hour fire and let it cool on its own.
tested a few this morning and the cooking seemed to work well:

Just got a nice pk. in the mail on Sat. I received 2 points from Ed Brooks. Both are nicely done obsidian points one has nice banding, Thanks Ed.
