I would pick archer. Then my goal would be to be an expert archer with a bow made from my own hands.

I'd have to pick the archer.  I have friends who can build amazing bows if I needed one.

Your answer is what I was looking for.  One or the other.   8)

A Genie pops out of a bottle and grants you 2 wishes.   Do you want to be a an expert Bowyer or expert Archer. What would it be..?

Seems to me with 2 wishes I could be both.

This is surprising me. I woulda thunk that on a bowyering site people would want to be better bowyers. I guess most are here because they want to be better hunters.

For the longest time I was only building and getting quite bored; becasue really this is about Archery is it not.  I have met 3 other bowyers in the last 6 months and these guys probably love shooting and of course talking shop  over shop work.   I have learned more in the last 2 weeks than I have in 2 years.  Face to face bowyer talk is so much better.
I wish we had a Bowyers Cafe.  :)
