Traditional Chinese Arrows (questions)
« on: May 25, 2016, 06:12:40 pm »
Anybody have any info or links to making trad Chinese arrows? Like length of fletching, I know it's not tall, but more the height of the shaft diameter. Maybe 90 cm long. I have some replica bronze heads a buddy sent me I'd like to make a display. I've googled it so I have been that far. Just thought I'd check you all here. Have a gooder and Thx, dp

That's Qing dynasty though... bronze would be much earlier?
Earlier Qing arrows before firearms were used had fletchings that looked like this:

Ming and possibly earlier arrows from the more Southern China were often bamboo.

Guess there's the ATARN facebook group

Arrows found with the Khotan bow, Xinjang (not quite China at the time), Han to Jin dynasty
