(1/2) > >>

Knotty:
Here's the 3rd point I've made so far,
I hope I'm getting better now ,

I have loads of slate to work with here, and even though it's not Obsidian or Flint,
I guess it works 😊

Hey Knotty
have a look at this article (or google for slate arrowheads)
http://www.afognak.org/heritage/arch/arch-intro.php?src=1999-2000
almost at the end you'll find a picture of many slate points
Slate wont flake very well (opposed to glass, flint or obsidian).
I'm pretty sure you may obtain better result abrading it.

Knotty:
Thank you for the article! Will definitely start reading it now, let's see what I can come up with 😉

mullet:
Most slate points were made by grinding them to shape. The Northern pacific and Alaskan Natives used a lot of slate tools. It will get sharp.

Knotty:
Thank you for the reply Mullet, I guess I know how to work on Slate now, I'll try it in the next few days and post the results.
