First tilapia hunt of the season
« on: May 07, 2016, 12:00:13 pm »
My son in law and I went tilapia hunting for the first hunt of the season yesterday and shot 38 fish.Beautiful day. Very little wind and plenty of sunshine. We left still seeing plenty of fish, but decided we had enough to clean. They were all shot either wading or walking the banks.  Great day!!  God Bless

What a fine mess of fish.  Must have been some fun to shoot!  Are they good eating?  We don't have them in Wyoming?  I always go on a big carp shoot around Father's day. They are fun to wade and shoot but only worth their skin!  Thanks for sharing the pictures!  Joe

Wow, Pete, you guys must have them as thick as we do. Nice haul, and they are real good smoked.

what a day!
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

Looks like y'all had a great time. Mind if I ask which lake?
