New powder horn

BowEd:
Nice job Dog soldering and all......Any steam shaping done to this one?The pouring end looks flatter right?Suppose that's the design factor. What are the dimensions?Have you delved into skrimshawing a time or two?You got a really nice white background for it on this one.

Spotted Dog:
Thanks. I wish I would of had a good mandrel to form spout. I used a rock hammer and a drift punch from when I was
still able to work full time. Pouring end is flat and I let the horn determine shape. It is 6 1/2 " tall and 3" base and 2 1/2 top.
I have tried some scrim, but hurts my hands too much. I have another in the works. Going to make a bait horn too.
Maybe even a tinder horn.

mullet:
Now I know why I asked, saw it in Muzzleloader Magazine.

Spotted Dog:
I haven't seen it. Which issue ? I like the real early guns.

mullet:
May/June, 2016.
