Looking for a feather burner
BowEd:
Sweeeeet Patrick man.
JW_Halverson:
They stink like heck when you are using them, so use it outdoors on a breezy day! But if you are cranking out arrows in production, they are an amazing timesaver. Love mine even if the archery shop guy spent 5 minutes explaining why he didn't want to sell it to me. Finally asked him who else I should call to take my money since he didn't want it too bad. Twelve years and still using the same wire (it came with two).
Too bad you didn't live closer, you could just come over and use mine whenever you wanted.

lebhuntfish, I would really like to see a few more pictures of how that feather burner is rigged and made. I have a trickle battery charger. Not sure it would work. I would also think that using a 12 volt charger it would burn up the charger. Would a 12 volt car battery work???
Thanks

Ill try to get some more pictures. But it's as simple as it looks. You do need the 12 battery charger though. It needs the constant resistance to heat the wire red hot.
