Hawkeye Bowmen Dutch Oven Share-a-thon

Hawkeye Bowmen will again host their Traditional Shoot on August 18-21 south east of Buffalo NY. We are excited to announce that the Dutch Oven Share-a-thon that was such a huge success in past years will happen again this year on Thursday Aug 18th from 4-7. Jim Lembke, a seasoned Dutch Oven efficianado, will host the seminar. Bring your own black pot and ingredients to cook or just stop down to learn how to use this method of cooking. Coals will be available.
The last time we did this there were over 30 pots going at one point and we had such a feast afterwards.

Other seminars will occur throughout the weekend on topics like primitive bow making, hawk and knife throwing, beekeeping, making natural cordage, the risks of Lyme Disease, and making of p- cord binocular straps to name a few.

We hope to see you all next month.

Pappy why don't you come on up .  I will see y'all Wednesday if you let me in . Or Thursday morning . I would like to build a bow with you guys if you have tools and a stave I could buy. Arvin.

would love to Arvin and it is for sure on my bucket list, maybe next year when I retire. Great bunch of guys and gals for sure. Yall have a good time. I am sure Davy will have some staves you will be able to get. Tell everyone hay. By the way Arvin how is Deb doing?? Hope she is feeling better. :)
