For some reason that address takes me west on Ddrive you need to go a little further north where Ddrive goes east.

Directions
Take I-94 to F drive exit (1 south of Marshall)
East on F drive to 19 1/2 mile ( about 2 miles)
Turn left (north) on 19 1/2 mile to D drive S.
Turn right on D drive S  Wilder Creek is on your left.

Ps D drive will go west ( left) don't take that keep going a little further around a curve to where it goes east (right)  (=)

Patrick that's the same one I used last year. It's close but not quite. I put it in my phone and Garmin and both turned me left on D drive.
Can't wait to see you all. I just about got my soybeans all planted but now it's raining again. I'm still hopeful  to get there Wednesday afternoon but that could change. I will be there for sure though 😊

DANG Bowmo!  If you didn't want to go to Marshall you could've just said so.  No need to cave in the whole roof of your ride to make an excuse!  :o 8) >:D

Seriously though, that tree looks like it's got nearly NO root ball at all.  How the heck did it stay standing as long as it took to grow that tall!  Please tell me your dog was not in the truck when the tree fell?

I sincerely hope you cut at least a stave or two from that log.  It should be pretty good mojo.  I mean apparently that tree was trying to get your attention.  Can't tell for sure from what I see in the picture but it looks like a White Oak.  It could make a half decent bow.  ...and you won't even have to cut the tree down first!  ;)

That was my first thought too, but I think it's actually maple. And my last experience with wind-fall maple was not good at all....
