Looks like it should do the job bud! Good luck out west. I'll need the scouting report as I drive past you on your way home! Just remember how delicious they are.

Another beauty, no surprise there.  Cool follow along on fb. Glad you decided to take along a Selfbow,  you planning to hunt with it exclusively?

Well the current plan is to use this bow and take the Soy bow as backup. I'm shooting this setup really well and liking the way it's sending those arrows, so looks like the selfbow gets the nod.

Thanks Dave, I keep thinking about that delicious bite of elk steak you gave me. What a reward that will be!

Just wondering. What type of arrows you taking along for shafts.I saw the the articulate fine stone points you were taking.Very nice.I too over here try and have a number of bows that shoot the same arrows.Kinda nice really.
Nice job on the handle BTW.A nice quiet sting from a self bow might reduce the distance of the retrieving part of your hunt too.

Tru that Ed, and this bow is as quiet as any out there. I got some thin bamboo shafts from barefoot that I made my arrows with and they fly like darts outta this bow.
