Thanks, Marius. Pat, I haven't gotten 'em completely matched yet, we'll see how it goes. The dogwood ones are already traded, they're in the care of the USPS at the moment. BTW, do the leaves on your patch of cane turn brown or drop in the winter?

Yes Steve. All of the leaves turn brown(tan) and most fall off. It does make it easier to see the good canes while gathering them as I'm usually on my hands and knees crawling through the patch. Pat

That's what I was wondering. I knew your cane was different from the typical stuff-if it's deciduous, it's A. appalachiana, hill cane. It doesn't usually get that big. I gotta snarf me another clump or two next year. >:D
