Beware when messin with fire
bjrogg:
Nice pictures Zuma. I've been out to the woods for the last 4 nights with my buddies were having a reunion (lost one since the last time thought we better get together again) the moon has been awesome so bright. Those flowers sure are pretty even if they don't smell so good. Of coarse I like drinking Saint Paulie's Girl so it kinda makes me thirsty.

bjrogg:
Sorry it wasn't all good news Zuma. The flowers like hanging out in my garden too.

Ruddy Darter:
Glad that first pot came out good Zuma, looks like it be a nice casserole dish (?). I suppose the more you make/break you'll get the method bang on. Dig the skunk... they're funny critters from what I've seen on YouTube :).
Ruddy.
Tom W:
Don, Even with the problems, the color was great on each piece(well the skunk too). Was it the pine bark or the manure or both?
Great pictures.
Zuma:
Thanks BJ sounds like your outing was a good time. :)
Sorry for the loss. My ole posse has thinned out
pretty bad. :-X
Yes indeed Ruddy, the learning process is what it's about. ???
Those little stinkers can be cute but they have decimated
my melon crop and like the deer I don't intend to eat skunk. >:(
Tom, I had a little horse poop and straw under the one that blew :o
nothing on top. The lugged pot had the poop under and pine bark on top.
I think that helped save that pot. The fire was very hot and burned
through the roof to quickly over the round pot. Plus the base of the
pot was quite thick.I also think it could have warmed longer outside the kiln.
No matter it's just like new --
