Prepping tomatoes for winter use

by 'canned', i meant the kind you buy at the store in a metal can with a paper label on it ;)

Like I said this is good base for all sorts of meals. I can some things but for tomato sauce this is the easiest for me.
John, I've been lucky that they haven't stuck together in one mass...yet!
My next project will be pickled okra. We put them up in jars but we just boil the brine and pour it over the okra in the jar and seal it. In two weeks you have very good pickled okra. I use it in tarter sauce when we have fried seafood plus they are good to eat just out of he jar. I'll take pics as I go along
